Jarrod Hibberd, B. Bus L L.B (Hons) is a commercial and property lawyer. Jarrod works with Peter Worrall, David Bailey and Kimberley Martin and our team of lawyers and support staff in the Commercial & Property Law practice area.
Jarrod is a graduate of the University of Tasmania with First Class Honours in Law, and holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. Jarrod was awarded the University of Tasmania’s WA Finlay Prize in Law, which is awarded to the three students enrolled in their final year of a Bachelor of Laws, or a combined degree including Law, that have attained the highest overall marks based on Grade Point Average (GPA) in law units studied. Jarrod was also awarded the University of Tasmania’s LexisNexis Prize for the highest mark for Property Law.
Jarrod commence working as a graduate clerk for Worrall Lawyers in March 2018, before being admitted as a Lawyer in August 2018. Jarrod is an enthusiastic lawyer and is determined to achieve the best results possible for his clients.
Recent projects have included
- handling property transfers and conveyancing transactions
- undertaking complex strata title conveyancing
- assistance in resolving a dispute under the Neighbourhood Disputes About Plants Act 2017 (Tasmania)
- preparing a paper on the new GST withholding laws introduced by the Treasury Laws Amendment (2018 Measures No. 1) Act 2018 (Tasmania)
